kboo83 asked: I have had several instances of heart flutters since the first of August and my doctor seems to think that it could be related to the amount of exercise I do daily. I am very active. I play varsity basketball, run cross country, track (shot and discus, long jump), softball, and I lift weights to help with strength and endurance. Basically I devote about 6 hours a day to exercising. I have never had any health problems other than the sudden onset of these flutters and quite a few fainting spells. I really dont try to over do it. I listen to my body and drink lots of water to stay hydrated. Everyone of these incidents occured during some kind of exercise. Even one was when I was bench pressing. I passed out and almost dropped the weights on myself..and would have if it werent for my spotter. He doesnt think that i need to see a cardiologist or neurologist or anything but my mom is going ahead and making appointments for me. Do you think it is exercise related like the doctor thinks or do you think it is something else.
