Open Question: Do I sound depressed…? Please Read.?
The school is now at me, telling me im depressed and whatev because in my writers notebook i had about 20 entries like this:
The Smell. The Look in her eyes. The aching pain in my heart. Not knowing who this person is, Is she my mom? Or is she what I see, a cold mean dark person, with demon eyes. Is she the person I?m afraid of, the one that yells, screams, rants, and lectures. And the one that gives me that look, the look that makes me want to cry. Cry and never stop. The look that almost disowns me as her daughter, the look that makes me want to run away, and never stop running. Those demon eyes, they look at me, as if I?m trash.
That bottle opens, everyday, as soon as she gets home from work. And within thirty minutes of that bottle opening, she is drunk. The words slur, the demon eyes stare me down. But most painful, those names she calls me. Why? Am I not good enough? Am I not a good enough daughter? Did I put to much stress on her? Did I cause this? I cant help but to think I did, that every rum and coke poured is my fault. That every slurred word, and every stumble, and every drop of alcohol, is my fault. I?m told otherwise, but what do they know? They don?t have a mother that looks at them with those eyes, that calls them those names, that never stops drinking. They don?t know what its like. No one does. I?m all alone in this world. With no one to turn to, no one to lean on, no one to depend on. They tell me its not my fault. They tell me it?s a disease. They say it is hereditary. But I don?t believe a word of it. Not my fault? Then why do I have to deal with it? God gave me a mother who drinks and drinks, because I did something. I?m not sure what yet, but there has to be something.
?Home Sweet Home.? What does that mean anyway? Whats sweet about home? The smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke? The tears, and the pain? Look up sweet in the dictionary. There nothing alike. And whats a home? Isnt ?home? supposto be comforting, a place to go and relax after a long hard day? Well its not. It?s a place to sleep. A place that is living hell. A place I don?t feel safe. I would much rather be at school, or outside sleeping.
The smell. It wreaks. Its all over her breath, all over her clothes. I can smell it miles away, and it makes me feel sick. It makes me want to leave this world, what?s the point in staying? Is there any? I don?t think there is.
Do i sound depressed?
(Yes, ive asked this before, and sorry if you read it again, im just confused, and sick of ppl that dont knowing me telling me im depressed and im fed up with everything right now.)

Open Question: Found out my dog has a heart murmur..?
I took my dog to the vet yesterday and he said he noticed a heart murmur. A year ago my dog got so sick he almost died from leptoseriosis. His kidneys and liver were failing because of an infection. It put a lot of stress on him and once he recovered he mellowed out a lot. The vet is pretty sure he developed heart problems from that illness. He is only 6 years old and is a beagle pitbull mix. Just wondering if anyone else has had a dog with a murmur and what should I expect? Obviously he will most likely die of heart failure but what should I watch for? He’s still in good overall health except that so when is enough for him? Down the road when will I know that its too much for him. Im looking for someone who’s had a dog with a heart condition before I just want to know what to expect.

Open Question: PLEASE ANSWER! My story that im writing.?
I approached Tyler once again, to finish him this time. However, Kyla saw what I was to do and motioned for Michael to grab me. I shrieked in rage and I let out an ear-piercing hiss that slithered off of my tongue. Kyla threw back her head and laughed. I twisted my face into an expression of aggravation. My weak anger looked like a crayon in Superman?s hands, easily able to be crushed in a split second.
My irritation brought itself out and I asked straight forward. ?What do you want anyways? All you have done is hurt my heart by abusing the little girl, annoyed me, and interrogated me. Why did you hit my friend and literally drag me down here?? My anger pushed me to the edge when I heard Kyla?s response.
?You became friends with Joan?? she asked, trying to side track from the subject. I burst into a loud scream and threw my head back in ferocity. Kyla jumped back as I came barreling at her. She, however, was not afraid of me. She stepped to the side and grabbed hold of my nightgown and I was held by a feminine hand. It had long ruby fingernails, a smooth palm, and a faint scent of lotion. I then experienced the strength of not only her beauty but her physicality.
She threw my body across the room and I collided with the stone wall. I fell onto the floor and tried to push my limp body off of the ground. My physical appearance was ruined of course. I felt the bruises swelling on my body and my lip, right arm, right and left foot, ear, and my face were gushing out blood. The cuts on my face were the main feature on my face for now. It was coursing out a scarlet river. I theorized that the right half of my body must have hit the granite as the cuts were all appearing on the right side of my body.
Kyla did not take pity on me as she came over and kicked me in the gut and screamed at me with commanding remarks. ?You will not try to attack anyone here in this facility! Do you hear me?? I did not respond because I was still hacking up chunks of blood onto the flooring. She kicked me forcefully once again and the blow broke at least one rib. I turned over onto my side, choking with pain. Her face still held the expression of hate. I thought in my mind. ?Oh my god, she might kill me.? She was going to kill me and I had thought that I had anger difficulties.
She took her left foot back, about to make the last strike to kill me, but I whispered surrender. ?Okay.? She looked at me with her head cocked to the side with a face of fury painted. ?Pardon, what did you say?? She occurred to be trying to make this fun. I murmured a little louder for her to hear. ?Okay, I will not attack anyone who works here.? I moaned. Kyla smoothed out a false smile and turned around to face the wall; probably trying to not have to force the fake smile.
?We?brought you here to tell you why you are here. Apparently, the United States government issued us to explain how you were put in here because of? she paused while Michael handed her a packet of papers, quickly flipping through pages to find the specific page, ?a concussion. Yes, a concussion.? She smiled and turned around, still gripping the packet of legal papers. She gazed at me with interest lighting her tan eyes. Surprisingly, she started snickering feebly. I narrowed my eyes in suspicion while she chortled.
?This is, well, very unusual. In all twenty years of working here, I have not seen this kind of case until now. You were driving in your car down the road, smashed into a car, and had a concussion and a broken right leg. Then, you were accused of creating a diabolical plan to rob the United States government.? She chuckled while Michael looked very serious and his face twisted up into a sneer.
I stared down at the floor, embarrassed. Apparently, I was an evil mastermind. Instantly, I wondered how many people I had killed. Immediately, I hated myself for befriending Jenny. When I was released from this asylum, if I would ever be released, Jenny would be interrogated and be put on a hit list by the government.

Open Question: My dog ate a dead pigeon?!?!?
My dog just ate a dead pigeon. It looked like it was about 3 days dead. EWWW! Ants were on it. Bo matter what I did I couldn’t get it out of his mouth. He ate the whole thing. I know they carry diseases. Do you think he will get one or get heart worms? I’m worried. I’ll call the vet in the morning if you think I need to.

Open Question: Cat drooling, vomiting, vet doesn’t know what’s wrong?
My cat is 14 years old, she goes outdoors, has arthritis, never has hairballs, and has recently been seriously ill. The vet has done tests for poisoning (negative, and it’s been almost a month now), various diseases (feline leukemia, FIV, all sorts of things, also all negative), he’s taken X-rays (didn’t show any blockage)… Her kidney functions are high, if anything, and she has kidney stones and a heart murmur, but we don’t see how that could have anything to do with her vomiting.
She’s been on an anti-nauseant. The first week she was on it she was fine, then when the drug wore off she was still just fine for a few days. She got sick again, though. We’ve asked around the neighbourhood and nobody’s left out any antifreeze or anything like that, as far as they can remember, though of course that’s not entirely reliable.
She’s on the anti-nauseant again… and for the past two weeks or so (yes she’s been sick three-four weeks) she’s been fine, but yesterday she started vomiting and drooling again (she’s not hiding away yet though). Either the anti-nauseant has lost its effect, she ate a whole lot of grass or something (my mum did see her consuming vast quantities of catnip) to induce vomiting, or whatever the problem is can no longer be covered up by the drug.

Mr A, 72 yr old man. Admitted for Loss of consciousness. Brought to ED dept & hypocount was 2.1mmol (hypocount is to test for blood sugar level. means he is hypo @ this time)
complaint of
* loss of appetite
*loss of weight (2-3kg) for past 2 month
Shortness of breath on exertion.
Denies fever, chills & rigor.
No nausea & vomiting noted.
1 episode of diarrhea, & it is watery.
Premorbid status: ADL independant, ambulant, cognitively intact
On examination:
Afebrile, Pulse 67 per min. Respiration rate 18 per min. Sp02 97%(oxygen level). B/P 139/69 mmHG.
Alert, responsive, fully communicative.
Thin, Cachexic, Pale
Dry mucosa & no rashes seen
Lungs: A/E equal & clear
Heart sounds: S1S2 no murmurs
Abdomen: sofe non-tender, nil spelnomegaly, palpable liver 5cm
JVP: not raised

Open Question: Can someone please help me my 14 year old chihuahua has just started on tablets for a bad heart murmur?
what i would like to know is what senior food is best she is on nature diet but she is not so keen on the same senior flavour that nature diet offer and the vet said to start her on pedigree chum senior which i wont do because has you probably know its crap food so if anyone can help me out i would be most grateful and thank you for your answers it is a matter of urgency.
