Open Question: Gospel of Love (Chapter One - extract) Any hope?
One
From the face of an easy, crowned sail an American being opened itself at the prologue of its novel world.
Her hair, which had just charmed out her hazel ponytail, flew in air of an October mid-night. As the storm of sensations spread like a cool, hush murmur midst her lips, her eyes gave her heart a sudden pound of revelation.
?Gosh?, she added to the murmurs, as the job of her eyes was significant.
It was brilliant: the waves that grooved under their own bridal, so calmly activated that bore a woe of trust; and the sky that invited them - as a home for the twinkling mercury.
But the Real brilliantness was their relationship.
It was how so beautiful to see the touch sky had made with the naughty sea. The way those two merged - with a border-less bond.
The sky that demanded more. The sea that rose faithfully to meet. Higher and deeper; eager, promising strokes of waves sank as a single fatal kiss for the satisfied heart of both until both of them were one.
From her destined ferry she watched it from her soul that the shore remained unsuccessfully crowded. Except paired packs which gave her both surprise and fear. She didn?t imagine how a little, almost inhabited piece of land would have such a satellite scene. And then, the curiosity was soon replaced by the certainty that- love existed everywhere!
She stunned, actually mused, on how the pairs moved with how a natural intellection of forces.
Love. Wasn?t it just the love she always has yearned for, which was now turning to fear?
She gave a laugh. It was not the love she feared. She was the terror for love. Wasn?t she the same five-year-old girl torn by a fruitless marriage? Or maybe she had turned it to a faulty produce. Then, a fifteen-year-old? And now, a strong woman has left her past as a whole.
Hang on, she ordered herself.
Why did she have to go back now? Wasn?t she the one who took challenges rather vivaciously? When she had been one and only in a stranger city, wasn?t it the great courage that made her survive. Yes, she has survived. She has had much of the killing survival; so now she will live rather than breathe. She commanded herself hopefully.
Promptly.
It was just the matter of Her past that had made her so strong. But her woman mind was limited to her own skull, unless and until she was known in the place. But of course, people will know her, as little as she wished.

Open Question: What could this kind of chest pain mean..?? Please answer, mom isn’t helping?
First of all. I had a mild case of anorexia, I starved and purged. But now I’m in recovery. I had chest pains during my eating disorder but mow that i’m almost better the pains are getting worse.
The pain feels like sharp jabs in my heart and a numb/tingling feeling in my left arm, shoulder and jaw. The tingling kind of feels like hitting my funny bone. These attacks only last about 30 seconds and I get them 3-6 times a week.
More frequently, multiple times a day, I get attacks where I can feel my chest pounding but that’s the only symptom.
I had a ECG done at the beginning of my outpatient recovery because my doctor thought I had a heart murmur but nothing showed up.
I’ve told my mom about of but she thinks it’s just from my eating disorder and that it will go away or that it’s from the heat. But it has been getting worse.

Simon Oaks asked:

Now that you intend on having an open and honest sex life, how do you plan on getting him into the sack? Slutty and sexy are a couple of very effective tools you have at your disposal for snagging a guy. Both tactics will get you a man, but will they secure him for the long term? There are a few things you need to know about acting slutty versus acting sexy before you use them.

Slutty

It’s so easy for women to be slutty. It only requires two ingredients: skimpy clothes and attitude. When it comes to clothes, it’s not about what you’re wearing, but how little you’re wearing. It’s about skirts so short that they come with a government health warning. It’s about blouses and tops that are so see-through that they might as well not be there. Cut is also important, as items should either be cut high or plunge low. Underwear isn’t necessarily a must, and if you’re going to wear some, it should be obvious what Victoria’s keeping secret. And remember, slutty dressing is a minimalist art — less is always better.

But a variation on the old the adage still holds true — the clothes do not make the woman. Now you may look the part, but it doesn’t mean anything if there isn’t the attitude to back it up. You’re going to have to act like you dress. You’re a loose woman. You know how to push a man’s buttons (and undo them if necessary). You’re transparent in your wants and desires. You say the things every guys thinks. You’re self-aware. You know who you are and what you want, and you know how to get it. There’s nothing you won’t do or have done to you.

So slutty definitely works. Slutty will get your man hot and bothered. But slutty doesn’t make him stay. And it will also get you a disappointed telephone call from your mother because word got back through the grapevine that Joanie Fitzpatrick’s youngest saw you dirty dancing in the hottest club in town without any underwear.

It’s true: A guy will pounce on a slutty girl. It’ll give him something to high five about with his boys and be another notch in his belt of manliness. He’ll like his slutty girl — but he isn’t going to introduce her to Mom and he sure isn’t going to show her off in front of the boss at the company picnic. A guy likes a slutty girl, but he isn’t going to marry one.

Simon’s Story: Straight from the Horse’s Mouth

I used to work in an all male department and we worked twelve to fifteen hour days. In that environment, guys develop a bond. They get comfortable enough to talk about anything — and honestly. It wasn’t exactly the Algonquin Round Table, but it was frank and honest man talk. Eventually, we’d get around to the inevitable “chicks I would/wouldn’t do” conversation. The classifications were simple. We were simple guys. The answers were: “Yeah, I’d do her” and “Nah, not a chance,” but there was also a third category — “I’d do her, but I wouldn’t stay with her.”

“I’d do her, but I wouldn’t stay with her” — kind of girls are the slutty girls. A slutty persona is good for a laugh and blowing off steam, but that’s it. A guy wants more than that. Scout’s honor, he does.

Sexy

Sexy is akin to slutty, but it’s a different animal. Like slutty, sexy requires attitude — mainly confidence. If a guy sees that you’re confident, he’s attracted. For a woman to be sexy, she doesn’t have to have the best figure, or be the prettiest one in the room. There’s something inherently alluring about a woman who understands her sexuality and can display it without having to make a lewd remark or show tons of cleavage.

Here’s the thing about slutty: It’s predominately about the visual. Men are very stimulated by the visual. They’re going to look, but it’s a short term success. Their attention will move swiftly to the next scantily clad lady.

Here’s the thing about sexy: It stimulates a guy’s imagination. A sexy woman can have a guy’s heart fluttering even if she’s wearing an overcoat down to her ankles. The persona she’s putting out there and the things she says are going to hook him and keep him hooked. A guy will want to know more about this woman. Unlike the slutty woman, where he knows what he’s getting, with a sexy woman, he doesn’t. He has to work at finding out about her. A sexy woman has depth and it’s going to take a long time to reach those depths, so he’s going to stick around.

And the Winner Is . . .

Sexy. Why does sexy beat slutty? In the long run, sexy is going to keep a guy interested, while slutty has a limited shelf life. No one wants to see a slutty, sixty-year-old woman. It’s no different than the older, creepy guy at the nightclub trying to impress the young girls. However, an older sexy woman still turns heads.

There you have it — sexy verses slutty. Sexy wins hands down. Now, there’s nothing wrong with slutty if you’re just looking for a quick fling. If you want an actual, lasting relationship with a great guy though, slutty doesn’t work. It gets real old real soon. Sexy is eternal.

Open Question: Are my friends wrong when they say I’m going to die young?
I have bi-polar, ocd, and epilepsy. Also a heart murmur, dying liver, torn right kidney, and severe migraines. I go to a lot of concerts and mosh, kickboxing, do extreme sports, rock climb and sometimes fall from that, and also drink. I have a very stressful living situation also. Doctors tell me if I dont slow down I wont make it to 20, I’m 18 now. Are they wrong??

Open Question: heart murmurs / palpitations or chest muscle spasms?
I’m 16 years old, 17 in 5 days. Since I was 13 or so I have had a slight murmuring feeling in my chest only every so often, like once a year I would feel a couple of murmurs/quivers for a day. This past week, though, I have been feeling this more often. Sometimes it will last for a good minute.
It doesn’t hurt, it feels very strange, though. I also feel a twinge in the right side of my neck whenever this happens. I can’t tell if it’s my heart. I check my pulse while it’s happening and it doesn’t seem to change, and the murmur feeling is just to the right of the center of my chest.
Could this be something serious?

Open Question: Vegan, Omnivores, Heart Attacks, What’s the Deal?
Has anyone read the book ‘Skinny Bitch’? (Or for the guys, ‘Skinny Bastard’.) If you haven’t, it’s a pretty hilariously written book, and focuses mostly on the vegan-lifestyle.
So now I’m wondering if I should go vegan or not. I’m wondering what everyone’s thoughts are, because I’m pretty split down the middle right now, of whether I should be a vegan, or continue living out what I have always known as an omnivore. I’ve done some research on my own, and this has only broadened the gap.
So, on one hand, there’s the argument that humans were never meant to break down animal protein, and that the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs isn’t meant to break down the protein from animals, and that the acid in our stomachs is more like the acid of herbivores.
Another argument is that we’re omnivores, we need protein (and I’m not arguing that) but we don’t need to attain it from animal meat.
So is it a matter of choice, and that’s that? We need protein but it doesn’t matter where we get it from. If this is the case, I’d be a vegan in a heartbeat, because of the horrible things that humans do to these poor animals.
My real question here though, and it’s one that hasn’t been answered, is: is it really true that we can’t process these proteins, is eating meat really causing heart disease, cancer, etc.
What’s the best way to live, and live heathily and happily, without hurting the planet, or others?

Open Question: Please can i have a little more info about becoming a nurse in the British Forces?
Hi,
Im 23, 24 in Aug this year…. I come from a family that are in the military and i am thinking of joining and becoming a Nurse or medic. I just need to go and get my heart murmur checked out. I am a little worried as my friends keep saying im to much of a girl to be in the forces and that id be to weak. I just want to do something really good with my life and do something for others and cant think of anything better then helping our soldiers.
Please can someone give me a bit of an insight to army life as a nurse and what it entails etc. likes / dislikes.
Although I work out at the gym i probably am weak if it came to defending myself, however i am mentally a very strong person.
