The freshness of fall and the darkness of winter
I hear layers of noise and pretend its poetry
Men and women sing and the same few piano notes roll over and over
A chill grabs my heart and heat pervades my head
Beats and electricity drone and beam
And I don?t know if I want to run away or jump in
Constants equal the rounds and chords
While Outside a quiet dimness grows
Yet even in the woods the birds sing and the trees murmur
Breathe in and each breath is new
Only the air, only the air is the freshest thing known to us
Until winter: lie in snow and hear:

Open Question: why do the veins in my hands bulge out some of the time ,and other times they look normal ?
I have heart disease, COPD, and lots of re- occurring kidney stones, can any of these conditions cause this . I have noticed when my feet are not swollen from heart disease the veins in my feet also bulge. It is not pleasant to look at and wonder why it only happens some times, and not all the time ?

Open Question: Irregular heart beat, slight ache in chest, light headed, dull ache in left arm, irregular beat takes breath?
Apparently I have a heart murmur. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have been to A&E and they kept me in for a day then let me out with no explanation. Do not even know if it is related to my underactive thyroid or if it is related to my leaky heart valve. Give up!

Open Question: Looking for insight on health issues.?
First I’ll fill you in one what made me ask this question;
Yesterday I came home and felt fine. I was slightly dehydrated but nothing extreme. I drank some water, took a shower, then browsed the internet for a little bit. All of the sudden, a ringing in my ears happened accompanied by feeling cold and clamy, breaking out into a sweat, and heart racing. I knew I was about to pass out, but don’t know why.
I got up and tried walking to my bedroom door only to find myself waking up on my floor, so much for not passing out.
I don’t know how long I was out for, but got over it.
About 30 minutes later I stepped outside for a cigarette, feeling light-headed but complacent. Then my chest started hurting something awful, and heart began racing. This only lasted for about two minutes, but disturbed me nonetheless.
Later on in the evening, I found myself unable to breathe. I couldn’t exhale at all, as if the wind had been knocked out of me. Ten seconds passed and it went away. I felt fine the rest of the night and throughout the day, but that didn’t last long.
About two hours ago, abruptly, I felt nauseas. Run to the bathroom and puked for two minute (tmi? sorry).
Now, I do have a minor heart condition but it is very easily maintained and doesn’t bother me nearly at all asides from slight palpitations and pain. I don’t diet, I get a healthy amount of sleep, not a drug addict, or anything of the sort. I’m just curious as to what could possibly be the cause of all this. I took to google yesterday after all the odd things happening, and all it pointed me to was heart disease. That can’t possibly be it so I’m just wondering if anyone as ever felt these symptoms and if so, are the linked to anything specific?
Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Open Question: Are these two problems related?
I have horrible anxiety problems (panic attacks all the time) I think they are caused by stress.
I also have some sort of Heart condiditon (not sure if it is an irregular heartbeat or a heat murmur my mom never made an appointment for me to go to the cardiologist, even though I needed and E.K.G. at the doctors in august.)
Sometimes I feel like my heart is beating extra fast or too much and that causes me to have a panic attack. I am afraid of getting sick and dying, so that also triggers panic attacks too.
How can I stop my panic attacks? I’m having one right now, its most common for me to have them during the night. How can I stop it? I feel as though I’m not getting enough air and can’t breathe right (which is how i normally feel when i have panic attacks)
Anxiety runs in my mothers side, I need to try and stop this! I’m only 15 and i have been having them since I was 9.
Also when I have panic attacks I feel as if I am about to be sick. it is extremly irritating, and keeps me up all night. If you don’t know this it is 2AM where I am and I’m still awake

Open Question: Critique my manga plot?
I didn’t want to make it too cliche and cheesy. It shalll be an oneshot Just popped in my head, so please tell me if it’s already been used before Dx
It’s called “Firefly Sky” and it’s about a girl named Hotaru who struggles through every day on the life given to her by her lover.
She was born with a heart disease (haha this part is pretty cliche) and would have lost her life to it, if her boyfriend (no idea on name) had not given his heart to her, which caused him his life. Ten years later, she still lives in misery, and blames herself for ending his life early. So when she was given a chance to travel back in time, (haven’t thought of by who yet) she resolves to re-live her life by never letting him fall in love with her, although she still loves him with all his heart.
(Of course, that means she will die herself, from the disease)
Yup That’s what it is so far xD It’s gonna be a tragedyyyyy

Open Question: Why don’t realise that KFC is probably the worst kind of food you can get?
I mean, come on! KFC chicken has very high levels of trans fat, which lowers good cholesterol, increases bad cholesterol, and increases your risk of heart disease. The animal cruelty carried out to make their chicken is absolutely apalling; the chickens are treated in the most brutal way possible, for the sake of profit maximization. They are responsible for the destruction of the Amazon rainforest; the rainforest is destroyed to make way for soy plantations, which the chickens are fed.
And all it gives us in return is chicken that tastes good. Are people never going to realise this?

Open Question: Is it possible to have a temporary heart murmur?
My GP found a heart murmur, and had me do an Echocardiogram, and heart monitor test to rule out the possibility of it being dangerous. When I was getting my ECHO, the technician asks me why I was there, and I told her I had a heart murmur, she looked at me kinda funny and says your fine, your heart is good, and there is no sign of a heart murmur. Was my GP wrong? Who should I believe?

Open Question: How can I convince my parents to get me a pet rat?
Okay, i’m desperate. I need help! Here’s whats going on:
My parents won’t let me get a pet rat, and i’ve done everything possible. I wrote three essays and a contract saying how i will pay for 70% of everything, and how they won’t have to touch it, etc., and they wouldn’t even look at it! Well, my mom read it, and said it was good that i was practicing my typing -.-
I’m practically a rat expert now, i’ve been researching for over a year. They take me to the pet store and let me hold the rats, but they still say no…. I have saved up $253 and i have made space in my room for a rat cage. They’re just too stubborn. I ask and ask, and they say no. I wait a while, drop hints. When i ask, no. I halfway persuaded my dad, but now he wants a degu (a squirrel type gerbil-thing). They simply can’t get over the ‘rats are sewer creatures who bite and smell and carry disease’ thing. I show them websites and books that will prove them wrong, but they refuse to read it. I think that they are persuaded, and that they just don’t want to give in this time. I’m always right, and they don’t like- no, they loathe it.
I had a rat when i was 8, but i didn’t know anything about rats. She died in three weeks (RIP Gabby, i’m so sorry!!!). Back then, all i had to do was ask. There was no such thing as ‘no’. My mom complained that she smelled bad (of course, a dirty cage) and left gabby in the garage. I was forbidden to go near her. I did manage to sneak out a few times and feed her, but it wasn’t enough. Now my parents blame ME for her death, and ground me everytime i say otherwise.
I keep my room clean,do my homework, get straight A’s on everything (with the occasional unfortunate B+), and i’m nice to my siblings. I don’t do anything bad- and it’s been that way since 1st grade. Why SHOULDN’T i get a pet rat?
I just came back from my weekly pet store trip, too. What really broke my heart was when i was holding the cutest little rattie ever- a powdered blue - and was having so much fun just letting it crawl on me and explore. You see, i’ve been visiting that same rat for a month and a half now, the pet store’s been holding her for me. When my dad said it was time to go, i put her back in the cage (not without a little goodbye kiss) and was walking off when i heard someone cursing. The new Petco employee had been bitten by my rat, and she was running across the floor, frightened. I picked her up and gave her back to the guy, and was shocked when he snatched her and threw her in the snake cage. My dad made us leave when i started crying and trying to get her out of the snake cage. I’ve just stopped crying. If my parents had just let me buy her, or if i had shoved her in my jacket and took her home, or let her run in the store instead of giving her back, would she still be alive? So because of my parents, I’ve killed two best friends.
I know i’m forgetting some stuff in my story, but you get the picture. I’ve tried everything. And i’m not going to settle for “you live under their roof, so respect their choices”. Respect? I need respect! I’m a determined little girl and i’m going to get a rat! …..i just need some help with these stubborn parents of mine. How can these rat-hating murderers be my kin??????????? HELP!

Open Question: Should i put down my cat down?
I’ve had my cat since i was 3.hes so old, 17 yrs, and i cant think of not having him around. but hes not doing well. he has a heart murmur, diabetes, a tumor in his neck plus a tumor that was somewhere else that burst open his skin. one of his eye lids has started covering his one eye so it makes him seem like his one eye is rolling to the back of his head. he has trouble breathing. so when he purrs he sounds so strange then starts gagging. he throws up all the time, basically every day. i feel like i shouldn’t get near him cause if he get happy and purrs he will basically throw up cause he gets excited and idk maybe its the breathing issue. im so upset over it. iv never ever thought of putting my cat down but looking at him breaks my heart. when he walks it seems hes in pain.i believe in nature taking its course but why make him suffer? i cant even touch him without hearing how hard it is for him to breath. idk what to do. is putting him to sleep an advisable option?a necessary one?

Open Question: Can You help My Hamster Question Please?
My Daughter and Her Mother has a hamster and it can’t walk that well its heart is beating faster and its 1 eye looks like the Hamsters eye on the movie Bedtime Stories and the other eye is closed.It has a giant hump on its back.Like a growth.
Its only about 6 months old and it was just healthy a few days ago. There was another one that died but it was a little bit younger and it was a Hermaphidyte. It was acting weird too and it died.
Do You know whats causing this?
Could it be a disease or the food it eats? (lettuce, tomatoes, sunflower seeds, corn flakes, potato chips, taco shells, dog food )
NOT ALL of these foods at the same time and Nothing that caused them to be sick before.
