Open Question: Advice with chest pain?
First off, I’m 20 years old. I’m in pretty good shape (6′, 165lbs.), but have a slight heart murmur.
After gorging on Thanksgiving, I had mild chest discomfort close to nighttime. I experienced some anxiety, as it wasn’t really any feeling I’ve had before. While I was worried, I decided to sleep with it. The next day, I felt the same discomfort. I ended up going to the ER that night, got an EKG and a chest x-ray. Everything looked “perfect” according to the nurse and doctor, and I was reassured that something heart related at my age would be highly unlikely.
Nonetheless, it is four days after my first feeling of discomfort. The best way I could describe the pain is a pressure, and occasionally a sharper pain. The pain generally comes and goes. It is very mild.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Open Question: Why do people say Hitler was a Christain..If he was why did he write this..?
These are his own words from his book…he has a hate for christianity..plain and clear?
The book Hitler’s Secret Conversations
All of these are quotes from Adolf Hitler:
Night of 11th-12th July, 1941:
National Socialism and religion cannot exist together…. The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity’s illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity…. Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things. (p 6 & 7)
10th October, 1941, midday:
Christianity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Taken to its logical extreme, Christianity would mean the systematic cultivation of the human failure. (p 43)
14th October, 1941, midday:
The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death…. When understanding of the universe has become widespread… Christian doctrine will be convicted of absurdity…. Christianity has reached the peak of absurdity…. And that’s why someday its structure will collapse…. …the only way to get rid of Christianity is to allow it to die little by little…. Christianity the liar…. We’ll see to it that the Churches cannot spread abroad teachings in conflict with the interests of the State. (p 49-52)
19th October, 1941, night:
The reason why the ancient world was so pure, light and serene was that it knew nothing of the two great scourges: the pox and Christianity.
21st October, 1941, midday:
Originally, Christianity was merely an incarnation of Bolshevism, the destroyer…. The decisive falsification of Jesus’ doctrine was the work of St.Paul. He gave himself to this work… for the purposes of personal exploitation…. Didn’t the world see, carried on right into the Middle Ages, the same old system of martyrs, tortures, faggots? Of old, it was in the name of Christianity. Today, it’s in the name of Bolshevism. Yesterday the instigator was Saul: the instigator today, Mardochai. Saul was changed into St.Paul, and Mardochai into Karl Marx. By exterminating this pest, we shall do humanity a service of which our soldiers can have no idea. (p 63-65)
13th December, 1941, midnight:
Christianity is an invention of sick brains: one could imagine nothing more senseless, nor any more indecent way of turning the idea of the Godhead into a mockery…. …. When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let’s be the only people who are immunised against the disease. (p 118 & 119)
14th December, 1941, midday:
Kerrl, with noblest of intentions, wanted to attempt a synthesis between National Socialism and Christianity. I don’t believe the thing’s possible, and I see the obstacle in Christianity itself…. Pure Christianity– the Christianity of the catacombs– is concerned with translating Christian doctrine into facts. It leads quite simply to the annihilation of mankind. It is merely whole-hearted Bolshevism, under a tinsel of metaphysics. (p 119 & 120)
9th April, 1942, dinner:
There is something very unhealthy about Christianity (p 339)
27th February, 1942, midday:
It would always be disagreeable for me to go down to posterity as a man who made concessions in this field. I realize that man, in his imperfection, can commit innumerable errors– but to devote myself deliberately to errors, that is something I cannot do. I shall never come personally to terms with the Christian lie. Our epoch Uin the next 200 yearse will certainly see the end of the disease of Christianity…. My regret will have been that I couldn’t… behold .” (p 278)
**CHRISTIAN
Viva Liberty..Im sorry but you are dilusional and in denial….
7 to go..I asked ONE other question…please inform me of those who killed in the name of God

Open Question: Is there another good antihistamine besides Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)?
I don’t think the doctor actually noticed my medical history before prescribing Diphenhydramine for me. I was given this drug because of a nut allergy, but I also take it when I itch after eating sugar (I have diabetes). According to research I did on this med, I should let the doctor know that I have Glaucoma or increased pressure in the eye; Peptic Ulcer Disease, High blood pressure and heart disease. The doctor knew I have these other conditions ,( I told her, plus she was looking at my medical history on the computer) but she prescribed this med for me anyway.
I’m afraid to take the Diphenhydramine now because there was no discussion about precautions or anything else I would have to do to take this drug. In other words, she ignored the warnings related to giving me this drug. I read that the reason this med is highly prescribed is because it’s effective and it’s inexpensive. Does anyone know of another antihistamine that is inexpensive and effective? I guess I can try to go back, if not to this doctor, to another and get something else.

Open Question: I keep having these weird spells?
They just happen every now and then about once a month but recently I have been experiencing them about once a fortnight,
I go very heavy in my body, my head becomes light weight I feel like i am going to fall over. My breathing becomes very slow and difficult, and things seem to happen in slow motion.
The only thing I could link it to would be I was born with a heart murmur but told I was clear when I was seven, what is happening I am worried, What do you think it is?

Open Question: Benefits of quitting smoking?
Hi, well I’m 27 years of age, and I smoke…I got some chest pains a month back and it turned out to be costochondritis (inflammation of chest joints), but it scared me enough to quit smoking, and I’ve been off it for 9 days so far, but I honestly don’t plan to go back to it. My question is. Will my health improve so that I’m least susceptible to cancers or heart diseases at some point? Remember I’m 27 and cancer and heart diseases do not run in my family genes.

Open Question: psychic signs or warnings, please help?
Im sorry for the long message/question, but if you can help me in any way or tell me who I can talk to about this I would really appreciate it.
Ive never had a psychic experience, but early this year I began to see 911 every time I look at the clock, or just randomly see it places. very shortly after i had a falling out with my parents, my 2 year old dog choked on a bone and died the day after our falling out, now they are getting a divorce. Shortly after that i noticed that my nieghbors street address is 911. Since then I have had a trail of bad luck severe depression and paranoia. the 911 never goes away. (i dont see it as bieng related to the events on Sept. 11th, but more as a warning) I have also had some sleep walking, one instance I found my self standing over my work phone in the middle of my room at 3 am when the phone rang for a death call (i answer phones for a funeral home, which btw is not very busy). After that my breaks went out on the highway, nothing bad happened to me…but that same day the girl who worked at my funeral home previously and lived in my room previously died in a tragic car accident. I dont like reading into things, but this past year has been just plain wierd and ironic. My radio turns on randomly, my fan changes from slow to fast for no apparent reason. I have a constant feeling that something even worse is about to rear its ugly head. I no I have not been the best person, maybe I am paying for all my wrongs. I am curious as to what is going on but too afraid to figure it out. Yesterday my fortune cookie said “be on the lookout for upcoming events, they cast thier shadows beforehand!” and on the other side the chinese word was “disease”. I dont no if I am seeing signs, or someone is warning me. But I feel like whatever is wrong, it is too late. I go through this daily, the feelings are very strong. Also a couple of years back after an episode of alcohol poisoning, where my heart stopped and a few days of induced coma, I experienced what seemed like nightmares even though i was awake-Laying in bed, eyes open but cant speak or move, 3 demonic dark green like shadow faces hovered above me and were all talking fast, I could make out one sentence where they said over and over that they were going to kill me, during that time I felt like i was being smothered and choked, almost like a strong heavy pressure on my chest making me sink deep into my bed. when i was able to breath, i gasped for air, and my throat felt sore afterward— Something is happening, and I dont know how to go about it..subtle signs are not enough for me to know what direction to take and/or if me and the people i love are in any danger. I just want this dark cloud to go away. I dont no you and you dont no me, but I was hoping that you could send me in the right direction (please dont say the mental hospital).
Thanks for your time

Open Question: jasper had a funny turn this afternoon?
hi jasper has hcm his vet said a year ago he only has about 6 months to live well he visited a couple of weeks ago and his vet was very pleased with him he is on fortekor which is keeping him stable, today he came in from his usual walk round the garden, he was a little bit sick with grass, then his breathing was really hard and fast, he sounded like a stream train, he was streching his neck out obviously to open his airways, this lasted for about 5 minutes then he started breathing normally, again, at first i thought he had gone in heart failure, this is the first time this has happened, is this normal for a cat with a bad heart, his heart murmur was first noticed 4 years ago,

Open Question: Cat with a heart murmur, to operate or not?
I’ve recently taken in a little stray cat into my house and, like with all my pets, I want to get him fixed. However, the vet found that he has a significant heart murmur. This means there is a risk of him dying under anesthesia. He’s strictly an indoor cat.
Some of the things that I want to know are;
What are the risks? Is it a significant risk or a large risk? Do the benefits out-way the cost? Is there a site online where I could as a professional for more information? Are there other, less dangerous methods of castrating a male cat?
Thanks for any help you can provide!

Open Question: i have a heart condition can i go on the simpsons ride i have a heart murmur?

Open Question: Is there anyone that is dealing with an alcoholic spouse that might be able to offer me some advise?
I have been married for almost 5 yrs. and for this amount of time i have been dealing with the ups and downs of my husbands addiction to alchohol. Now, if he was a total jerk all the time, and a bum that didnt do anything it would make my life alot easier because my simple answer would be, goodbye.
But, its not the case. He is a binge drinker. When he is sober he is everything i have ever wanted in a man. He is sweet and caring, funny, responsible, a hard worker, a good lover a great father..He is my heart.
When he goes on his spurts or binges. Sometimes its weeks in between, sometimes its weekly. He will go off drinking and come back trashed. I would rather not get into small details but its like completely two different people. When he is drunk I hate him. He is a stranger to me and I literally hate him. He has never hit me, but his personality when he drinks is unpredictable and emotional. He knows he has a problem and says he wants to stop but when push comes to shove and he gets the urge he gives in. I’m at my wits end and do not know what to do. I don’t know what else i can do, Ive tried everything…Indifference, pleading, begging, compromising, threatening.
I love the person he is sober and I think I will be completely miserable with out him. But at the same time this is ruining our marriage and I am depressed. Is there anyone going through something similar that can offer me some advice? I just really need someone to talk to and i do not want to go to alanon meetings. I feel like all they will do is make excuses for them.. its a disease” i don’t buy that. It upsets me that he cant just stop. ..
I dont need advice as to what HE can do, I need help with what I can do and HOW I can deal with it, because I do not know if I want to or am ready to leave him..

Open Question: I was born with a Heart Murmur. My family doctor told me he could no longer hear it. I am 25 years old?
At 25 I went to the doctor and was told recently that the murmur is there. I supposedly had a seizure when I was 21 for no apparent reason. EKG at that time showed nothing abnormal. At 25 I feel very tired all the time and my breathing is sometimes shallow, i think because i have sinus problems. Should i be concerned about the murmur?
