Open Question: Do You have a heart murmur and if so how bad does yours feel and describe your symptoms please?
The reason for the question is because I also have a well the doctor says it’s called an EXTRA heartbeat.Then I asked him if it’s the same thing and he says yes and no. O.o mmk Well I am having fast heartbeats at times and I also get to where I can’t breath and from what others tell me they say I also get really red in the face. My heart gives me troubles mostly at night between 9:pm and all the way til 4:am . It freeks me out because it takes my breath by making it feel as though my chest is tight or full with something.
I also get aches in my back in between my shoulder blades. I get week like. and my vision is like looking through the bottom of a glass and it makes me get weak like. I get this more if I am standing to long and it also happens to me when I lay down. Yes I do get panic attaches from it but I can control those . They have gotten harder to control so I asked my doctor if I can be placed on some kind of pills and he says that it won’t help that nothing can help the heart murr murrs .
I need to be reassured from someone that has lived with this for a long time that it is not life threatening. But I have not found such people. That is why I have thought to ask in here. So please if you have this problem and or the same symptoms then please let me know. Thanks for reading this and I await your responses.

Open Question: Woke up in the middle of the night with discomfort in my arm/chest–causes?
On Sunday night I went to bed around midnight and awoke at 3AM with a really nasty feeling mostly in my left arm and shoulder and the left side of my chest. I would say it was centered at my left shoulder and felt like extreme, searing discomfort. I felt it in my right arm some too and in the left side of my neck and jaw. It was not a feeling of distinct pain, but a very, very intense feeling of numbness and crushing feeling that built up inside of me and made me feel like fidgeting, turning over in bed, shaking my left arm, etc., not that any of this helped. My neck felt like it was being squeezed. Before this I would say that the most physical discomfort I had ever felt was during the half marathons that I have run(and I run them hard), albeit a different discomfort. But I can definitively say that this was worse while it lasted. Absolutely excruciating. Now, I have been feeling a much milder version of this discomfort for the past couple months, when sitting down or in bed. In these milder levels it generally manifests itself as a nasty numbness that makes me wish my left arm and shoulder were simply gone. In the past couple months my appetite has plummeted; I constantly feel full and eating is difficult. For the record, I had taken 2 hits of some pretty strong LSD at 8 PM and then 4 Tylenol PMs before midnight so I could sleep. I don’t normally take Tylenol PM but I have noticed getting this feeling from it before. So, when I woke up at 3, my first thought was that maybe it was nicotine withdrawal; I had permanently stopped smoking 2 days earlier although I had only been smoking for a month and only a couple times a day, and not smoking for a couple days had never made me feel very bad before. I got out of bed and walked around, maybe a mile total, which got rid of most of the discomfort, and I smoked too and that made me feel better, although that’s to be expected. I remember when I was walking around (before I smoked) I could feel my chest and arms becoming warm and comfortable, they suddenly felt ‘alive’. Got back in bed and the discomfort began to build back up but not nearly as bad. I was able to get to sleep within 30 minutes or so. Maybe it built up so much because I had been sitting still and tripping for quite a few hours that evening–like I said, I have seen a correlation between sitting/laying down and this discomfort. So, I’m wondering if this was caused by the drugs I was on or some physical issue. It comes off seeming like a heart problem, although I’m only 18 and have been in great shape for years despite being naturally extremely unathletic. All the men on my dad’s side of the family develop heart disease very young, but I’m still skeptical that heart issues could be the cause of this.

Voting Question: My dog has CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) what can I expect?
My 13 year old Pekingese/Chihuahua mix was diagnosed with CHF almost 3 weeks ago. He’s had a heart murmur for years and developed a cough a few months ago; both symptoms were being monitored by his vets. Then one day I noticed he was breathing fast and shallow and its CFH. It seems so sudden and really advanced. I guess I thought it would be a slower decline?
We started him on Flourosamide(?) to help with the fluid in his lungs. The following week we put him on Enalpril(?) for his heart. These meds seemed to be working. Then this past weekend I noticed his breathing was fast and shallow again. We have upped his flourosamide dosage and he seems to be doing better again. His eating is fine, even though I understand that the meds can lessen the appetite. He seems happy even though he tires quickly and has lost weight and muscle mass. So I’m not sure what to expect.
Any info would be appreciated? Does anyone else have past or present experiences with this?

Open Question: Does anyone know the story or meaning behind the song “Two Trees” by Loreena Mckennitt?
Here are the lyrics and song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsYINRjr9dw
1. Beloved, gaze in thine own heart
2. The holy tree is growing there;
3. From joy the holy branches start
4. And all the trembling flowers they bear.
5. The changing colours of its fruit
6. Have dowered the stars with merry light;
7. The surety of its hidden root
8. Has planted quiet in the night;
9. The shaking of its leafy head
10. Has given the waves their melody.
11. And made my lips and music wed,
12. Murmuring a wizard song for thee,
13.There the Loves a circle go,
14. The flaming circle of our days,
15. Gyring, spiring to and fro
16. In those great ignorant leafy ways;
17. Remembering all that shaken hair
18. And how the winged sandals dart
19. Thine eyes grow full of tender care;
20. Beloved, gaze in thine own heart.
21. Gaze no more in the bitter glass
22. The demons, with their subtle guile,
23. Lift up before us when they pass,
24. Or only gaze a little while;
25. For there a fatal image grows
26. That the stormy night receives,
27. Roots half hidden under snows,
28. Broken boughs and blackened leaves.
29. For all things turn to bareness
30. In the dim glass the demons hold,
31. The glass of outer weariness,
32. Made when God slept in times of old.
33. There, through the broken branches, go
34. The ravens of unresting thought;
35. Flying, crying, to and fro,
36. Cruel claw and hungry throat,
37. Or else they stand and sniff the wind,
38. And shake their ragged wings: alas!
39. Thy tender eyes grow all unkind:
40. Gaze no more in the bitter glass.
1:41. Beloved, gaze in thine own heart,
2:42. The holy tree is growing there;
3:43. From joy the holy branches start,
4:44. And all the trembling flowers they bear.
17:45. Remembering all that shaken hair
18:46. And how the winged sandals dart,
19:47. Thine eyes grow full of tender care;
20:48. Beloved, gaze in thine own heart.

Chris Tyler asked:

One of the things that confuses most men,  is that it seems as though women react differently and respond differently to conversation.  And this is true.  It’s been said many times before that men and women communicate differently.  If you want to attract women,  you have to know how to communicate and how to talk to women.

There is no way to get around this.

So,  what can you do?

Here are three tips that should help you to talk your way into a woman’s heart:

1.  Interact with her. One of the worst things that you can do is to start dominating the conversation without interacting with her.  She doesn’t want to hear your whole life story or how great you are.  The best conversation flow smoothly between two people,  so make sure that you allow her to have her time and her say.

2.  Be playful. Serious conversation is not what is going to make her heart melt and have her feel intense attraction towards YOU.  Be playful.  Joke around and make her laugh.  Find soemthing about her that you can tease her about without being a jerk.

3.  Use your body language. You don’t just have a conversation with your words.  Your body also does a lot of the talking.  So,  learn how to use body language in a way that creates attraction.  Women pick up on these things more so than men,  so you want to learn how to do this.

Knowing how to talk to women is VERY important to create attraction. You have to be able to use conversation to get her attention and create that little spark that makes her heart flutter.

And you can learn how.

Open Question: Our 2 month old puppy was diagnosed with a heart murmur that measures 3 out of 6. What does that mean?
She was diagnosed by a vet at the place we are purchasing her from, and we were not able to ask the Vet that examined her any questions, but did call our regular Vet and she said she could not know how severe or what the murmur indicated unless the pup was examined by a cardiologist. She suggested we get our money back.

Open Question: Can you mix tylenol and tylenol pm?
Basically I just want to know if I can take 1 of each?
One for the fever, and the other for the sleep aid, I have Bronchitis - saw the doctor yesterday and got a shot in my bum.
I already took both of them and just.. well nervous. Went to bed and my heart twitched once or twice - like a murmur. Laid there for a moment, then slowly sat sat up, freaked out a little bit - examined myself took my pulse, feel completely fine now lol.
So in the future, should I avoid doing this again - can it be dangerous?? Was my body just relaxing along with my heart. Because It dose sometimes on rare occasion feel like it murmured or twitched at night before going to bed, along with other muscles. But my doctor says I do not have a heart murmur, when I brought this up AGES ago. I know the heart is a muscle, I assume like all muscles it can spasm, right?.
Also Im 19 and have no family history of heart disease or heart murmurs… so again, is it safe to mix the two?
The reason I took them, was because I ran out of Niquil this morning. And my chest is all itchy, and my fever is back.
So I was hoping the tylenol pm would knock me out, and the normal tylenol would take the fever away.
