Open Question: My son wants to die…what do I do?
My 4 year old has spent the past year and a half suffering with an immune system disorder. When I say he suffers I mean he suffers. This child has toughed through some things that have brought grown men to tears and to their brink. Lately he keeps telling me he wants to die. He doesn’t want to fight and he doesn’t want anymore pain. At this point in his disease he isn’t dying anymore but he is definately still suffering. I don’t know what to say or do for him when he says that. It breaks my heart. All I know to do is hold him and cry with him. What should I say?
I do give him stuff to live for but he can’t enjoy any of it cause he feels so bad.

Open Question: Am I being haunted or not?
Im stuck at a cross between reality and fiction. I know something is happening to me whether it be paranormal, physical, or mental. It all started when i was just a toddler. I came from a big hispanic family. And we all lived in an enormous house. One night, when I was 3, my older cousins were bored so decided to play with matches. As the story goes they were in their bedroom, all alone at the match they lit combusted and lit up the curtains… They swear till this day that the match, unaturally evolved into a ball of fire that flew to the wall. I was downstairs by myself in my playpin (kind of like the one from “The Rugrats”) while the rest of my family was eating in the dineing room. The house instantly filled with smoke, and everyone but me got out. They forced my mom out of the house before she could take me with her. My family includeing mom thought i was dead as the the whole house ingulfed in flames. But luckily for me a fire fighter saved me just before it was too late.
Since then many unfortunate things have happened to me. When I was 5 I cought Scarlet Fever, a very contagious and very rare disease that almost killed me, when I was 10 I almost drowned at my local beach, when I was 15 I was in a 3 car crash, my seat belt was thrusted so hard that it broke cutting my neck in the process and slamming my face straight into the dashboard.. I am 17 now, and I feel like something is following me. I wake up with cuts on my back and bruises in the shape of thumbs on my wrists. Sometimes I hear whispers 2 inches from my face rite as im about to fall asleep. Recently Ive had very frequent paranormal encounters. The first was when I was home alone one night, i saw a man crawl on my dim kitchen floor gasping for air. I froze in fear as he crawled into the dineing room slowly and quietly. The second was by far the worst thing that has ever happened to me. It was about a week ago. I remember I fell asleep with my T.V on. It was hot that night so I left my window open. Hours passed and remember wakeing up … My eyes heavily slipped open.. I couldnt move.. My room was lit by my T.V.. But my T.V was only showing static.. And it was mute… I tried opening my mouth but couldnt, I tried moveing my hands but they too were frozen. I felt like I was disabled, i couldnt even blink my eyes. I was in some sort of sleep paralyisis. I felt like there was something heavy holding every inch of my body down. Then to my horror something walked across the foot of my bed, it was a women in a night gown with glowing orange eyes… she walked around tell she was two inches from my face, I couldnt see her because i couldnt turn my neck, but I could feel her. I felt disgust in my stomach, tears poured down my face, then I remember closeing my eyes, and wakeing up in the morning.. With dried tears on my face, and a broken T.V I knew it wasnt a dream… It seems every couple of years these sorts of things progress… I do have mental illness in my family, and I use to have a weak spiritual bond with god. I know it may sound kinda silly, me asking yahoo about this, but I have nothing left. Im afraid to tell my family in fear that they think im a psycho.. My minds telling me Im crazy but my hearts telling me im not. Am I crazy? .. Has anyone else dealt with something like this?

Open Question: Heart Murmur at 19, Please Read!?
Today I went for a routine medical, and the doctor heard something bizarre when she checked my heart. I had a medical less than 6 months ago and she checked my heart and there was nothing significant. She said something about a possible stage 2 heart murmur. She said to make an appointment with another doctor, and get an echo cardiogram. Can someone give a simple explanation of what a heart murmur is, how serious it is and what is done about it? Is it weird to only be diagnosed with this when I’m almost 20? Should I be worried?
Thanks for any input!
Clara

☆~♥ Cookie♥~ ☆ asked:

I am 24 years and a female and for the last few weeks I been having heart flutters. It doesn’t hurt but just feels funny. The last couple nights I been restless because of some discomfort in my chest area and left arm. The first time was this past thursday night, my pressure was up and my heart was racing and pounding almost the entire night but after i finally slept and got rest I felt better. Friday night I was normal, no pain or anything but last night it came back. Instead this time my heart wasn’t racing but I felt discomfort in my chest and left arm. I took a pain killer so i could get rest but it really didn’t help. I Finlay got rest and just woke up and i feel weak. My mom said I could be dehydrated but I drink plenty of water especially since I been having these unknown symptoms. Should I be concerned?

Open Question: Why is my sister trying to kill me even though I have done no harm to her?
My Evil whore sister knows that I have Depression but she puts something in my food which will give me Insomnia. Is it to take my property? My parents do have huge land that they own but I would give it to my sister even though she is a whore.
Why does she want to kill me by Insomnia?
Does she want to give me heart disease?
I know that Insomnia makes Depression worse so why is she so evil?
I pray for this whore every night and I feel hurt that this whore is trying to kill me.

Open Question: Is vitamin supplementation a scam?
Reader?s Digest did published an article- calling vitamin supplements a scam and said that taking them is a waste of money. It cited a study of 160,000 mid-life women that showed no difference in health with respect to the big diseases like cancer, heart disease and stroke, from taking a multivitamin. But as with all studies, you need to dig deeper. In this case, because not all vitamins are created equal.
(I do strongly suspect a magazine whose advertising is largely from Big Pharma companies saying - vitamins are worthless).
The article challenges the benefits of certain individual supplements, such as vitamins A or E, which will likely have little effect when taken in isolation without proper co-factors. Vitamin D3 can stand on its own, but most other vitamins need to be taken together as part of a complete nutritional package.
We have to take a whole food multivitamins and a whole food raw green powders, together with whole food and plant-based diet because the truth is dim. It is very difficult to get the nutrients we need from our modern food supply. These days, to offset the bad fats and processed food sugars we consume and to restore balance within our bodies, we need more raw vegetables than ever.
The problem is that our fresh food supply is not as vitamin rich as it used to be. Soil has been depleted of nutrients, food is sprayed with chemicals and pesticides. Not forgetting the GMF to harvest a bigger yield or to resist disease, and transportation of hundreds or thousands of miles to get the food to our tables.
For the products to survive that trip, still looking fresh and beautiful and without bruising, it is heavily sprayed with chemicals and picked before it?s ripe and allowed to mature along the way. Once the fruit leaves the vine, that is the death of it. It doesn’t get the sun and the nutrients any longer, so it does not fully develop the enzymes and phytonutrients that are usually present in mature fresh picked local produce. Studies estimate more than 50% of nutrient value is lost in the journey from farm to table.
Now we back to the use of vitamin supplements which are typically comprised of man-made synthetic compounds.
Because synthetic vitamins are created in a lab to simulate the real thing, they are often not identical in the way they interact with or are absorbed by the body. They are often missing minerals, nutrients and other requisite co-factors for assimilation. In addition, they often contain cheap fillers and binders from ingredients like sand and titanium dioxide, Di-basic calcium phosphate and micro-crystalline cellulose, they are ingredients that our bodies cannot absorb and that may even be harmful to us. Many common over-the-counter vitamins are passed through the stool whole and intact.
The Pharma made and so well advertised ?Centrum? is famous for this!!! What a joke.
Taking a multivitamin that includes a broad spectrum of vitamins, minerals and nutrients can make a difference, but only if it is bio-available and bio-absorbable. In other words, your body can actually break down and absorb the nutrients. That is not possible with synthetic vitamins.
Interestingly the Readers Digest article?s main argument against taking multivitamins said, ?These days, you?re extremely unlikely to be deficient if you eat an average America diet, if only because many packaged foods are vitamin enriched.?
Think about that for a minute and tell me - Are they right? What is Your opinion?
I thought you are a scientist Garry, but OK, if you can’t find it yourself - here it is.

djsteph_80sflashback asked:

I heard that acid reflux and stomach upset can trigger the vagus nerve, causing what feels like heart spasms/flutters or PAC’s. I experience these quite a lot, sometimes in runs for hours and days. Usually when I have the flutters it feels like it is triggered after a big meal, and feel like I have a lot of gas and need to burp a lot. Sometimes they happen when my stomach muscles are tense or are puttng pressure on my chest, maybe due to eating a large meal (not necessarily due to anxiety or stress, in fact, it usually happens when I am quite relaxed). Since hearing about this possible connection, I’ve tried taking antacids and anti-gas medications, but it hasn’t worked. Has anyone experience these, and is there anything else I can try to relieve/prevent them?
Note: I have had EKG’s, echocardiograms and also wore a holter monitor. The echocardiogram was fairly normal, and with the other tests, some showed PVC’s, and some showed PAC’s, but never to the extent that I was actually feeling them. Every doctor I’ve been evaluated by says that there is nothing that they find wrong– this is what makes me think the problem is gastrointestinal in nature.

Open Question: What to make of what the ECHO tech said?
I had an ECHO today as a test to find out why I am experiencing sinus tachycardia and palpitations and I guess to see my heart murmur. While I was getting my ECHO done I had palpitations (which was the first time it was ever recorded) and when I left he said “there isn’t anything I am too worried about”. Should I ignore the comment or be concerned? I have a follow up appointment on October 5th so I will get the results then but I am worried now.

Open Question: heart murmmur and low heart rate?
I have a really low heartbeart rate. my resting is anywhere from 45-50 beats in 1 minute. I went for a walk and after walking up our hill pushing my 11month old daughter in her heavy stroller i could barley breathe and my heart was pounding hard but i still only had 72 beats in 1 min. i take a online class so its not like my teacher can feel my heart rate. she is saying i must be taking it wrong and that i must not be working out hard enough blah blah blah. does having a heart murmur have anything to do with low heart rates or any other advice on this
also maybe i could be walking faster but pushing the stroller i can walk as fast as possible like if i were not pushing the stroller. also i think stoping at lights to cross the street affect it but i live downtown in a city
should i go to to my dr or directly to a cardiologist? In the morning i plan to make an appointment for asap
