Could be simple palpitations. Try coughing when they happen, and if they don’t go away, it’s probably something more.
If your palpitations are serious enough, coughing won’t completely get rid of them, but “calm them down” a bit.
If you have experienced something scary, it could be palpitations. You may be starting panic attacks from post traumatic stress. If this keeps up you should see your MD. He/she can prescribe medication and may suggest talk therapy. These can help. I know as I’ve had these problems. Don’t refuse treatment as it can make a big difference.
Another thing it could be is a heart problem so if it continues to be a problem have it checked.
I suggest you go see a doctor so you can be fully evaluated. Even though most times heart flutters are benign.
