Open Question: I’m only 23, but my cholesterol levels were terrible! What can I do?
Heart disease runs rampant in my family. My dad had his first heart attack at 32, and had 4 more by 46 (with 3 bypass surgeries, one of which was quadruple). So I was more than a little worried when I had my cholesterol checked and at only 23 years old, my total cholesterol was 207, my LDL was 178 and my HDL was only 29!!! That’s horrific, isn’t it? What can I do to fix it as soon as possible???
I also have heart palpitations and PVC’s, but I was told it was my Panic Disorder….any relation to the cholesterol levels?
