Open Question: Heart Stress Test (treadmill)?
I know I am in the wrong area, but no one in the heart diseases answered my question so I was wondering if you guys would know something =) :
I am a 13 year old girl, and I might have to take a heart stress test on a treadmill to see if I have arythmia. I told the doctor that every once in a while my heart feels like it flutters, or is in my throat. (only about once a month or so) Also, I have vasovagal syncope so he wanted to check what was making me pass out when I do excercise in hot weather, when I see blood, etc. Do you think that having heart flutters only like once a month can mean arythmia? Also, what will they do during the stress test?
What exactly is arythmia?

Open Question: What are the odds of going through life without developing any major disease or disorder?
With all the death and sickness on the media and TV 24 hours a day, what are the odds of going through life without developing any major disorder or disease. And let’s not include heart disease from being fat (but fatal heart arrythmias and complications like John Ritter’s heart do count) in the question b/c fat America obviously skews the odds in favor of diseased early death with that one.
Basically what are the odds you can:
-be born without any complications
-not be ADHD or ADD or whatever through childhood
-not develop any sort of cancer or terminal illness throughout life
-not develop AIDS, any cancer, alzheimers, parkinsons, etc.
What are the odds you will just die of good old fashioned heart failure in your sleep at 80-100 after living a healthy life, physically AND MENTALLY, give or take a few colds and 24-hour food poisonings?
i’ve heard stats 1 in 3 people are crazy, 1 out of 24 die of cancer/AIDS, and so forth. Any bored genius mathematicians out there?
