Open Question: I think I may be Diabetic?
So Im up right now and was randomly watching a King of the Hill episode where the character Bill has to go to the hospital for Diabetes…and I noticed that a lot of symptoms the doctor said I have. Ive had thyroid problems, and recently went off medication because they said I was cured. But Diabetes could explain why I have ‘dizzy spells’. It’s not that I even eat a lot of sugar, I just sometimes randomly feel like I have to pass out and I’m in a cold sweat. I would save I have more of the Type 2 symptoms.
I’m also tired a lot and I dont know why, I sleep and rest most days. Also I’ve had tingling in my fingers and toes.
My grandmother had diabetes and died at the age of 84, she had her legs amputated then died shortly after that. I dont know if that could be a factor or not. But I also have a Heart Murmur.
I think I remember the doctors checking me for Diabetes a year or so ago…they always would take blood from me when I went to my Thyroid appointments, but I dont know if they checked me for Diabetes. My last appointment was around May and they told me I could get off my meds.
