Open Question: What is this heart “flutter” sensation?
Last night I had this sensation that my heart was “fluttering” or maybe beating super fast for about 10 seconds. It didn’t hurt at all, but made me a little faint and nervous. I wasn’t sure if it freaked me out so much that it caused me being faint. Anyway, I looked up heart spasms and a lot of the information I found said people had chest pains accompanied with them, which I didn’t have. I’ve had these “fluttering” sensations before, maybe about once every half a year, for just under 10 seconds. I have been having palpitations this week, and am pretty sure I have a murmur. Also, a little over a year ago I wore a heart monitor for three weeks and took a stress test and they found nothing wrong with my heart (I did this because I experienced a rapid heart rate for a day and was new to the palpitations and was concerned). Any idea on what this could be? Thanks for any help.
Oh, and I’m also a 25 year old male.
