Open Question: Can I ask you to say a prayer for Zoe?
Zoe, is my 3.5 pound Chihuahua!

She was diagnosed with Liver Disease 5 months ago. She has been seeing a vet either every week or every two weeks, for the last 6 months! Has never missed an appointment! Just a little info on Zoe! When I was breeding my dogs, which I no longer am, Zoe was unexpected, but welcomed with a lot of love and open arms! When x-rays of my female were taken by the vet, the vet saw only one puppy and I did too on the x-ray and felt only one puppy when she examined my female! Zoe was no where to be seen on the x-ray! I told the vet, that I felt 2 puppies kicking. She said, she did not think so! On whelping day, my female Chihuahua whelped her puppy, that was seen on the x-ray with no complications and me by her side! As I was cleaning up, my female was not really showing any signs of there being another puppy! To our surprise, 15 minutes after Gizmo (Zoe’s brother) was born, Tiny Zoe graces us with her presence! Zoe was so small, that my female had a very easy time whelping her.
Zoe went to the vet again this past Saturday, for more bloodwork to see if her ALT Levels have come down, because they were off the charts and very high. The poor thing has been a pin cushion an poked and prodded at, for almost 5 months now and never ever complains and just keeps fighting! She takes it like a trooper! These blood test results, I’m getting today, are going to determine whether we need to take the risk of losing her, by doing a Full Liver Biopsy on Zoe, to find out exactly what is going on, or if hopefully her levels have come down to the point where medication will control and possibly rid her of the Liver Disease. The vet said that she looked really good on Saturday! Zoe was on Clavamox for 1 week, because the vet thought that her Liver may be Infected and that’s what might be affecting her levels. Zoe had a full physical, as well as my other Chihuahua that I lost did, 6 months before they were both diagnosed with Liver Disease, and everything came back perfectly normal on every test that was run, with absolutely no oncoming signs of any serious illness. Toxicity has already been ruled out. If you see Zoe now, you’d never know she was sick at all! She’s gaining weight, eating, drinking, running around like a little Energizer Bunny, chasing after and playing with my other Chi’s, like any healthy dog does and even the vet is confused about how both of my dogs got this disease and so suddenly, when they were both so healthy and had never been sick before. My vet also has two Chihuahuas of his own, that are the same size as Zoe, so he’s familiar with Runts! If you could find it in your heart’s, can you please say a Prayer for Zoe, for positive news for a change? I would truly appreciate it. Zoe needs all the prayers she can get! I don’t want to lose Zoe too! Thanks for taking the time to reading this! Can you please Star this question?
