Open Question: what ADHD medication is safe for an adult?
I have high cholesterol and a heart murmur, so, no doc will let me take Ritalin or any of the other “usual” drugs, even though I did as a kid without any trouble (I didn’t have the high cholesterol when little, though). Also, I cannot use Focus Factor. Most herbal/OTC’s are out of my price range. I need something I can use my insurance to pay for. Current doc put me on Wellbutrin since I also have depression and some studies have shown that this drug may help with both conditions. It is helping with the depression, but, not the ADHD! I am driving myself and everyone else crazy with the non-stop talking and stupid mistakes-not to mention the innattention.
