Open Question: Could my heart murmur be causing my dizziness?

I’ve recently found that some people do get dizzy when they have a heart murmur. Yet I’ve discovered my heart murmur when I was in the 4th grade, and never have I been dizzy because of it. Over time could it have worsened and be causing it now?

before all you jokers in P&S start making jokes, please take this seriously. i, myself am a P&S asshole (on another account) but this is serious.
i just found out my ex-girlfriend who when i was with she lived 90 miles away (long distance-relationship) might die tomorrow. we dated for 8 months July 08-March 09 and she was my first love. i still love her and miss her very much but she left me and hurt me very bad, even after we broke up she still gave me crap because she was a physco and wanted to break my heart.
after a very heartbreaking (for me) message on the 3rd of January, ive been completely done with her. but she has texted me (she NEVER texts me) three times. earlier today she texted me saying ‘im lost without you’ i didnt write back..
she just texted me now telling me that she is going into heart surgery tomorrow and theres a possibility she might not make it. the thing is, i dont know whether to believe it. ill be the first to admit shes a physco, and that she WOULD make this up for attention, but i dont know.. she does have a heart disease though, ive known this since we’ve been together. thats why i dont know if this is for real or not.
my heart just dropped reading that and i just dont know how to reply, so i havent written back. please help me
