Open Question: Cyanosis of legs in 7 month old…?
Ok so ever since my daughter was born she has had cyanosis of her legs and arms. The arm part of it went away but the legs continue to turn. They only turn if she is being held and her legs are kinda dangling, or in her walker, or something to that extend where her legs are dangling.When she was born she had a heart murmur. This has been watched very closely and recently just seen a cardiologist whom said she was an innocent murmur.An EKG was performed and that was normal. An echocardiogram was also performed and the came back normal as well. I will be scheduling now an appt to do an ultrasound of her lower extremities to check for clots and if that come back normal he is referring me to a rheumatologist. She does not seem like she is in pain when this happens and like wise she is a very happy baby. She does love to move/kick her legs and she rolls her feet in circles alot too.Sorry so long just wanted to get in as much information as i could.I am just looking to see if anyone else has or is going through this and maybe to broaden my horizons a little more to see if there is other things i should check into. Thanks so much
You just made me think of another thing to add…when she is wearing socks and this happens it is almost like her circulation is being cut off and her legs kinda swell up around the top of the sock even though they are big socks on her…..and another thing is that she could be as warm as can be and when they turn they are also freezing cold…we massage them and they go back to norm….
