Open Question: dealing with anxiety?
I have pretty bad anxiety about my health. I think i’m a hypochondriac….and i CONSTANTLY think there is something wrong with me. Every pain, twitch, heart flutter, or feeling i get i think is somehow disease related. I seem to get most anxious in the winter months and at night time. i get the worst little panic attacks and i am so tired of them.
I dont see a psychologist about it and i dont take any meds for it (i’m against meds because i know they can cause other long term problems)
Does anybody have any ideas as to how i can cope with this anxiety? Like when i start panicking what should i do? how can i calm myself down or what should i tell myself? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
