Open Question: First chapter to my book what do you think?
Chapter one: How it started
London 1865:
It was about ten o?clock, Mr. Duke Lawson was tucking his daughter, Amelia, into bed. He was talking to her about his memories of him playing the piano while she danced around in her favorite gown.
He had aspirations of her becoming a dancer, so that his memories of his late wife would carry on. As his little angel was falling asleep he leaned and whispered into his daughters ear:
?When I am in heaven child, an angle will come and protect you and show you the ways of the dance. I swear it.?
He sealed his promise with a kiss upon her forehead and went down stairs to have a cup of tea before bed..
He was pouring a cup of tea when all of a sudden his heart was struck with a pain so severe that he didn?t know what had happened. He went stumbling up the stairs to his daughters room and again another excruciating pain to his heart, he was at the top of the stairs and just about to enter his daughters room when another one had hit.
this time he didn?t get up, he just laid their, his energy had faded, he murmured one last time ? Amelia, I love you.?
And with that all the breath had left his body, and his body left lifeless on the ground.
The maid was the one who had found him. A scream of terror had awakened Amelia. She came out of her room to find her father laying lifeless on the ground, as she fell to her knees in despair, and asked the Lord why she was robbed of her fathers life.
i actually wrote it two diffrent ways, one is discribing the people. I did relize about the P.O.T.O (phantom of the opera) thing… thats why i am considering deleating it…..
and i am not done with it yet its just what i have so far.
