Open Question: Puppy heart murmur - please help!
Are heart murmurs in puppies common?
My 15 week old pomeranian had a vet check today and the vet said she thought there may be a SLIGHT heart murmur but she wasn’t sure and that she “couldn’t even convince herself that it was even there” (what she said). She said to come back in around 4 weeks time to see if there was actually one, as she said they are not uncommon in puppies and they usually grow out of them.
Could she grow out of it? And is it likely that she has not got a heart murmur as the vet wasn’t even sure if there was one?
