Open Question: Good nutrition for my elderly dog?
I have a German Short-haired Pointer who is turning 14 next year. He has a heart murmur, spinal degeneration and also slight cataracts in both eyes. Believe it or not, he is very active and happy. I am wondering what type of food is good for a dog of this age? He is a house dog and gets lots of love and belly scratches. I would like for him to be around another 14 years.
Ok, so most of you say a raw food diet is best in his case? I think he also needs extra glucosamine in his diet, is the raw food diet high in glucosamine?
