Open Question: I am having chest pains an I was born with a heart murmur, , , What do I do?
I am a 16 year old girl and I was born with a minor heart murmur which healed up on its own when I was 1 and a half years old. (Well, at least the doctors said it did.) Since the beginning of June I’ve been having chest pains off and on, around the breastbone area.
Lately, the pain has appeared at these times::
-about 2 weeks ago, at my friends house, 5 of us were pillow fighting and after about 15 minutes of it my chest began to hurt.
-Yesterday night at a dance club it started hurting after I had been at the club dancing for about 3 hours. I was there for one more hour and then I left. It hurt on the way home, but after about a half an hour of being at home the pain was not as bad. Then I was trying to wrestle the phone away from my brother and it began hurting again but far worse than it had earlier. Then i went to bed like 20 minutes later with it still hurting. This morning when i woke up, it still hurts. It especially hurts when i sneeze or when i bend over to pick something up
