Open Question: How can one or atleast I ever be right with God?
Awhile back ago my wife left and now I’m going through a divorce. Well this totally shattered my perception and convictions concerning traditional marriage. So I met another women and fell in love and had her move in with me. Now I feel that no matter what I can’t be right with God because according to Christian interpretation of the Bible I’m nothing more then a fornicating, shacked up heathen on my way to hell. I feel that I can’t pray because the Bible says that if I regard inequity in my heart the Lord won’t hear me so why bother, even on my most spiritual days I know that somewhere in my heart I’m regarding some type on inequity because I’m a sinner and always will be. I’m not willing to kick her and her daughter out seeing they moved from far away and I love her and her daughter, and that would just be wrong also. So I just don’t know how to fix this. I feel that the cure would be worse then the disease type thing. So now I’m constantly feeling like no matter what things are never right.
