Open Question: When you visit the hospital how much blood is drawn?
I remember my last visit they kept me there for 3 days and drew my blood twice each day. I cried because the iv and needles usually hurt after being stuck so much. I am going to the doctors next thursday but I am scared they will draw too much blood and keep me there. I asked them why they drew so much blood they informed me that they were running test. Then when it was time for me to go home they asked for some more blood. Did they donate my blood?
It was allot of blood they keep drawing and they did xrays and checked my heart because I have a heart murmur. I even asked them was I okay and they just said sure you are fine, then turned around and asked for more blood. I am freaked out by hospitals and I did sign papers but I am not sure if they said they would be donating or running multiple test on me. What kind of test do they take any way and how do they know if your okay just by looking at your blood?
I told them my grandmother had diabetes and I guess they checked me for that. However I did not have anything wrong except I was dehydrated.
