Open Question: I have some questions about Guinea Pigs:?
I have a female Guinea Pig, who I have had for 3 years, on August 26th.
1. Should I take her to the vet for an exam? (We’ve never taken her to the vet before. Do you think she’ll be scared?)
2. Do Guinea Pigs get heart-worm? (or any other diseases? - I know they can get scurvy).
3. Do Guinea Pigs get sick often?
4. She has two bald spots, on the back of both of her ears. Is this a concern? Should I get it checked out by the vet, for maybe mites?
5. Like I said, I have one female Guinea Pig. Do you think I should adopt, or rescue another Guinea Pig (that is a female)?
6. Near both her nipples, she has little black spots, is this bad? Could it be poop?
