Open Question: Why does Anxiety cause Bloating?
Ever since I started getting panic attacks and anxiety which started 3 months ago, I have been bloated ever since. Whenever I eat a meal, my abdomen goes out like I’m pregnant! It is very weird and annoying and my doctor said the bloating is from anxiety. I am always thinking it’s like heart failure or some other disease and it’s really scaring me. My tummy used to be really flat and now it’s always like a balloon. How can anxiety cause this bloating? Is it gas? Why does it extend the abdomen so much?

Angel is an 11 year old Himalayan who was just diagnosed with a thyroid problem. It was 28, and supposed to be no more than 4; along with that she has a heart murmur, rapid heartbeat of 200 bpm. Sooo doc said high fat, low protein cat food. She recommends Science Diet GD (Geriatric Diet) but I can’t find that anywhere, not even on the science diet web site. Anybody know of another food similar that might not be so costly?
