Open Question: I recieve a called from the air force military?
I was disqualified because I have heart murmur. But, I want to know, if I had surgery for it, can I still join. I didnt tell the recruiter this, my mom asked if I did. Well I got surgery for my heart murmur when I wasn about 1yrs old. And I have NEVER had heart problems. Am I still able to join?
When the recruiter called, he asked if I had any medical conditions. I told him I have heart condition: heart mur mur. He said that I have been disqualified because of the heart murmur. He then explain to me that people with such problems might join without telling anyone and bad things happened to them or gotten in A LOT of trouble. I was wondering, since I have had surgery when I was a baby and had no problems with my heart, am I still able to join.
