Open Question: I want to join the Peace Corps… What second language should I learn?
I am 22 years young and I want to join the peace core, badly! I feel the longing to help others… To go into the Congo and fight Malaria… To give vaccinations for diseases…. Life has to be much more that this!!!! GOD ALMIGHTY, why am I living to pay for fu*king gas when I can be risking my life to save an innocent child from HIV or some other life threatening disease??? I mainly want to go to South Africa, and no, I don’t completely know the dangers. I am naive at this point on the danger of the Congo and such, but I want this SOOOO bad…. My heart, body and soul are craving this… What language should I learn to be able to serve and understand the people? French I was thinking, but I am not sure… Please, help anyone
And yes, I am willing to give up my life for this. I am not afraid of death and consider myself up for any challange. I want to help other and am willing to sacrifice my own life.. I know that death is a 50% chance in the Congo… Does anyone have any info on the war going on in the Congo?

Open Question: My 37yo. daughter is awaiting her court date for social security disability. Should she contact her lawyer?
My daughter has both psychological and physical problems, and has applied for disability a couple of yrs. ago. She has seen numerous drs. in our rural community during that time. The ones she saw barely look, ask any questions, or touch her. She has had painful swollen lymph nodes on her neck, along with anemia, Epstein Barr virus, endometriosis, a hole in her heart/murmur, and some other physical problems for which have not been diagnosed. She originally applied with the psychological stuff. But, in order to be qualified for the ssi, I believe that she ought to include all of the physical stuff as well. She’s tired of these drs. not doing anything for her, let alone the humiliation and trouble with getting there, etc. (One dr. even told her to go to the local mental health center, rather than him treating her symptoms!) My question is, what would someone knowledgible in legal matters do in her situation, and should she contact her lawyer about all of this?
