I have a heavily diseased aorta. On top of this have spinal stenosis and non-diabetic neropothy in my feet. I the stenosis and neropothy were discovered via mri and visits with a neuroligist in 06 but nothing scince. I have had stenting and angioplasty in 2007 and again in 2009. The docs never said anything about not working. Do I have enough here to apply for social security disability. Can I do this even if I am collecting unemployment should I even bother at my age of 64 1/2 years old.or should I just collect early ss. Thankyou

Open Question: Can a 24 holter monitor catch any abnormality with the heart, even if you don’t notice it?
Exactly what can and do holter monitors exactly find out?
I have mine on, a 24 hour one because I’ve been getting heart fluttering skipping beats and sometimes even tachycardia,..fast heartbeat out of nowhere…just abnormal rhythms which scared me, and now they put one on me. Today go figure, I only had maybe two noticable flutters, and perhaps a few rapid heartbeats here and there,…but nothing too unusual.
will this definitely put to rest if I have any abnormal heart rhythms or any irregularities that I should worry about, or are there things that this cannot catch?
I mean I also had an EKG done in the past, many of them, and also a stress test…and now this….
and the other tests were “fine”, so said the doctors, and no one heard anything wrong, however one doctor did spot a slight murmur….which the others didnt, and noe other doctor spotted an irregularity from hearing my pulse.
So now I’m getting it checked out, but they all basically said not to worry about it, that it’s not like a huge problem or anything.
But I’ve been getting skipped beats or flutters pretty much daily for the last few months, but i’ve also been REALLY sick and had severe asthma..and been on ALOT of meds…so all added up ..it probably took alot out of me.
Who knows…any other advice?
