Open Question: I’m 23 weeks pregnant and my doctor said the baby could die within 2-6 weeks. Need advice.?
She has signs of chromosome diseases and 2 signs of heart failure and low amniotic fluid. They said most babies like this die within the first 12 weeks, she has been hanging on for so long. I ask the doctor what to do and she said keep going on with a normal pregnancy. Any hopeful stories would be really helpful, thanks.
I took an amniotic fluid test and it will tell what chromosome disease they tested 6 or 7 different chromosomes and down syndrome was one of them. Their is fluid blockage from the third to the fourth ventricle in the the babies brain causing the first and second to swell. Their is also fluid under the skin of the babies chest which is one major sign of heart failure. I can’t remember the other sign of heart failure that she said the baby had. She is also the size of a 19 week baby even though I am just over 23 weeks.
