Open Question: if you have a heart murmur as a baby and it goes away will it cause problems when your older?
im 23 years old and when i was born the doctor told my parents that i had a small hole in my heart. the doctor told my parents it would close up which it did. but the past few years i have been dealing with an odd heart beat and sometimes my heart feels like it stops beating for a second then starts again and its constantly skipping beats to the point where my chest hurts. i cant explain it that well but its weird and my aunt told me when she was a baby she had a small hole in her heart too that went away but said that it will cause problems as i get older. my question is could the hole in my heart come back and cause problems for me now?
