Open Question: Is it bad to scare a puppy/person with a light heart murmur?
We just got a 10 week old pug puppy adopted from a rescue. The info they gave on him was little to none basically. However one thing that was listed was that the vet said he had a very light heart murmur but should be able to live a perfectly normal life. So we have for the last few days treated him as any other dog. It still concerns us though when we wake him suddenly and it scares him or when other things scare him that it might be bad for his heart. Is this something to worry about or since they said it was a very light heart murmur should he probably be living a normal life where scaring him is no worse then scaring anyone else?
