Open Question: Is my old manx cat dying?

January 1st, 2009 | by admin | Open Question: Weight Loss Confusion. Help?
i really need to lose some weight. i’m 146.4 pounds and only 5′…and i’m 15. my bmi is 28.6, which is considered “overweight”. also, i’m already at risk for many heart diseases and diabetes just from genetics, and i’d like to do all i can to lower those risks. but i’m soooooo confused when it comes to weight loss. everyone is telling me something different. i just want some answers!
*is the South Beach Diet a healthy diet? how much weight could i lose if i stuck to it?
*which is better for losing weight: cardio, weight training, or a combination?
*is it true that doing the same workout every day cacn actually put weight loss on hold?
*what are negative calorie foods? examples?
*does Acai juice help with weight loss or is that just a myth?
*are there any vitamins or anything that help with weight loss?
*how can i tone my thighs/butt/abs?
also, can someone make an example of a good workout routine for me? i have access to a treadmill, elliptical, bowflex, bike, and hand weights.
any other tips? all answers are appreciated.
you are loved.
