Open Question: Left Ventricular Hypertrophy?

Open Question: How bad is it for health to live right on busy road?
I live right on a very busy road during (the day) not so bad during night. Lots of cars, lorrys etc…. I love the house it is perfect for us, have got used to the noise as well. But am just worried about how bad it is for us especially my one year old. Read about asthma excema, heart disease and am thinking shall I move? When really I don’t want to. Does anyone know?

Open Question: Left Ventricular Hypertrophy?
Im 14 yrs old and Ive been going to the cardiologist for about three years. The first two years it was just a aheart murmur. Last year he found mild mitral valve regurgitation. They did the holter monitor and stress test. That was January 2009; Then he says o come back in 6 months to see if to treat me elevated blood pressure. So I ccam eback for the appointment today and I gave him my calendar in which I have my BP recordings from January until Now. (he told me to do that). Then he said that he needs to repeat the echo to see that the BP didn’t worsen anything. So he did the echo and found that my MR hadn’t worsened but now he found mild left ventricular hypertophy.He said it was casued by the BP , and that my heart getting larger. So he prescribed medicine for the BP. So I got this hypertrophy in a 6-month period of time?I thought enlargment of the a side of the heart developed slowly like in a year, not 6 months.? I will see him again in 2-month’s time to see if how I respond to the medicine. So just educate me on all this please.
