Open Question: lip piercings????????
I have been considering getting my lip pierced for a couple of months now. Well my mother kept saying no to me. She wouldn’t tell me the real reason she wouldn’t let me get it done. Finally I discovered it’s because she is afraid of gum recession, infection ect. I have a really bad heart disease so if i am to get an infection in my mouth it can effect my heart. But I want to know how commen gum recession and infections are. And what is the level of pain? And what is the best way to decrease my chances of the infections and stuff. (aside from not getting it peirced) Thanks a bunch!! ?????

And there she sat. Shaking, toes digging, gripping into the sand. Maybe she hoped to find something amidst the subtle tides that refused to appear in the garish waves. She buried her face in her elbow, resting on her knees. Her hair blew in the wind as the darkness tiptoed closer. A tear slithered down her face, and hid in the crook of her arm. She was alone in a world of her own, a place with barriers and guards with swords that sometimes got scared and let their blades fall and strike their master. She broke down more and more with each thought of broken hopes.
