Open Question: Looking for insight on health issues.?

September 29th, 2009 | by admin | Open Question: Irregular heart beat, slight ache in chest, light headed, dull ache in left arm, irregular beat takes breath?
Apparently I have a heart murmur. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have been to A&E and they kept me in for a day then let me out with no explanation. Do not even know if it is related to my underactive thyroid or if it is related to my leaky heart valve. Give up!

First I’ll fill you in one what made me ask this question;
Yesterday I came home and felt fine. I was slightly dehydrated but nothing extreme. I drank some water, took a shower, then browsed the internet for a little bit. All of the sudden, a ringing in my ears happened accompanied by feeling cold and clamy, breaking out into a sweat, and heart racing. I knew I was about to pass out, but don’t know why.
I got up and tried walking to my bedroom door only to find myself waking up on my floor, so much for not passing out.
I don’t know how long I was out for, but got over it.
About 30 minutes later I stepped outside for a cigarette, feeling light-headed but complacent. Then my chest started hurting something awful, and heart began racing. This only lasted for about two minutes, but disturbed me nonetheless.
Later on in the evening, I found myself unable to breathe. I couldn’t exhale at all, as if the wind had been knocked out of me. Ten seconds passed and it went away. I felt fine the rest of the night and throughout the day, but that didn’t last long.
About two hours ago, abruptly, I felt nauseas. Run to the bathroom and puked for two minute (tmi? sorry).
Now, I do have a minor heart condition but it is very easily maintained and doesn’t bother me nearly at all asides from slight palpitations and pain. I don’t diet, I get a healthy amount of sleep, not a drug addict, or anything of the sort. I’m just curious as to what could possibly be the cause of all this. I took to google yesterday after all the odd things happening, and all it pointed me to was heart disease. That can’t possibly be it so I’m just wondering if anyone as ever felt these symptoms and if so, are the linked to anything specific?
Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
