Open Question: My 8 yr old min schauzer was just diagnosed with a level 4 heart murmur. He has shown no signs of being sick.?
He only went to the vet for his yearly exam and that is when I was told of this. He has been fine and had plenty of energy, but now that he is taking his heart meds he just wants to lay around all of the time. I am concerned that maybe there is nothing actually wrong with him, should I seek a second opinion or is it normal for a dog to have a level 4 heart murmur and not show any signs?
