Open Question: My cat can’t meow!!!!!!!?
she’s 5 years old and has no health problems that we know of - she has a heart murmur but I don’t think that means anything?
anyway, it’s really hot here in Australia and at first I thought it was tiredness or something, but she’s opening her mouth and this really weak, breathy noise is coming out. it’s not coninuous, but it could be at any time - she could be wide awake and try to meow for food, but no noise will come out.
what’s happening?
she’s always been able to meow until now. it’s just started happening
