Open Question: My Mom accidentally took an extra Propranolol?!?
Ok my Mom takes propranolol for a heart murmur. Well she got confused this morning when taking her pills and just realized she’d taken 2 20mg tablets within an hour of each other because she’d forgotten she’d taken it already. (She’s only supposed to take one). Will she be ok? Should she throw it up or call the hospital?

Open Question: why do i keep having heart palpatations?
I first noticed them when I was pregnant with my first child. I only got them maybe once or twice with that pregnancy. After that I had them only a handful of times for about the next 5 years. Just in the last year, I get them quite frequently. I’ve been to the doctor a few times and they put a holter monitor on me, and of course that came back fine, no palpatations. I don’t have them everyday. I can go days or weeks of not having them. And then I have days like today when they are so constant that I can’t seem to concentrate on any thing else but the palpatations. The cardiologist says that if they get too bad that they can prescribe medication. I am almost opting for that. Everybody reassures me that everything will be fine, but I want to really make sure. I guess I’m just a little scared since heart disease runs in the family. If this helps any, I’m 32 and have 3 children. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
