Open Question: Medical Prescreen for MEPS?
I have been seeing a USMC recruiter and filled out the prescreen and had a few questions that I answered yes to. My recruiter told me I could be DQ’ed by these things if I put yes.(I am not going to lie, its out of the question). Some things I put yes to include a period of dehydration i had a few years back that caused some fainting spells, a heart murmur that went away at a young age, and eye surgury. I want to join the Marine Corps but with honesty or not at all. The recruiter told me MEPS would look at the prescreen and judge if I qualify to even go there. My concern is I dont see myself qualifying and dont want the Marine Corps and the government to spend money on me to send me to a physical that the chances of passing are slim in my mind. I would like advice from anyone at this point. Thanks in advance.

Open Question: Pain with costcochondritis?
I was diagnosed with costochodritis over a year ago and every now and then it flares up. Especially when Im on my period which is the case now. This time its almoat as bad as when I first got it and nothing is really helping. It doesnt really hurt when i take a deep breath or anything. Mostly it hurts if i stretch my neck to the side. Or if im in an awkward position. I go to hair school an tonight i had to move my arms a lot so its really hurting right now. If anyone has any advice or helpful remedies id really appreciate it. Im trying not to freak because i dont have the money for the er and all the tests. Btw i am a 27 year old female with no known history of heart disease. I dont smoke and i

Yes ive been taking ibuprofen and naproxen but didnt take any today bc ive been taking it for 3 days. The only thing that helped was a flexaril but i cant really take those bc i have 2 small children and cant just fall asleep . I only did it that day bc my husband was home. Usually a heating pad works but its not too much tonight.
