Open Question: Please help, this might be serious.?

July 31st, 2009 | by admin | Open Question: Please help, this might be serious.?
Alright everybody here is the situation. I’ve been having quick shooting pains through my chest for about 4 weeks now. These pains usually last from about 1 to 4 seconds and are in the left side of my chest. The pains are sometimes in my right side of the chest or shoulders.
So 2 weeks ago i went to a doctor and asked him about it. He said it was what is called “Precordial Catch Syndrome”. I had heard of this syndrome and knew i had it. I’d actually had precordial catch for about a year. He also said the pain from the syndrome usually only last 2 weeks.
Well, it’s now been nearly 4 weeks since it started and im still having the pain. I also feel kind of empty or weak in the left side of my chest. I’m just extremely worried that maybe i have Heart Disease or early signs of Heart Failure.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks
Sincerely Yours,
Josh.
