Open Question: puppy with a heart murmur……neuter?
As so many of you out there , my pooch has a heart murmur too:(!
He is 8 months now and our vet told us he had a faint heart murmur in his first check up after we got him at 12 weeks. We were suggested then to wait and see…Well he was scheduled for a neutering last week and our Vet. still found the heart murmur and suggested us to dig dipper into the issue with an EKG, sonogram… etc.
Well, I love my puppy very much but the costs are wow “unbelievable” close to about 800-1000, for Ekg !! omg.
anyways, he has an umbilical hernia too…The breeder we bought him from did not mention all of these issues….oh well, we love him too much anyways.
So for the time being we have decided not to neuter him.
So my concerns is:
how can I make him feel better when he mounts on every doggy looking thing.
Please help me with your answers as I really don’t want to risk him with the surgery!
