Lifestyles in Cuenca, Ecuador: Christians, one man, one wife?
Are there evangelical (Christian) churches & ministers in Cuenca, and are there gays & lesbians living an “out of the closet”, in your face, lifestyle in that beautiful city?
What about AIDS control there, diseases, etc., is it on the rise, minimal, or what? Will I have to learn Spanish right away, and can I take classes?
Is the American retirees located in a certain area of Cuenca, and where are the best and safest places to live and mingle with the people there?
I’m a singer/songwriter/guitarist and don’t want to feel restricted; is there plenty of activity for a musician?
It would mean a lot to me if these questions and concerns could be properly addressed as I’m considering live there.
And no! I’m not a racist, arrogance American male. I have love in my heart for the entire human race and show respect for all mankind.
In Cuenca, Ecuador I will live as the Ecuadorians live.
