Open Question: Should Hong Kong government provide more funding for the sick peoples in Hong Kong, no.5 most expensive city?
Hong Kong is facing the severe health problems for many of the citizens, the air pollution caused diseases of asthma, heart and lungs and, particularly the alzheimer’s many family can’t afford to take care. Many of my friends’ parents (either one or both) are experiencing the difficulty of socializing and do their own daily things alone. It is recorded with more than 80,000 Hong Kong senior citizens are being suffered with one kind of alzheimer’s diseases. My buddy Fred’s father was reported missing in May 2007 during his short distance walk for buying two pastry in Kowloon and disappeared since then and the police can’t recover him alive or dead. I rather concern about the inadequate funding from the government which is about HK$58,000 per year in the old age care home. The reason of why Fred took his father from the special care home because the total cost is more than HK $107,000 per year for the acceptable and safe treatment. Many families can’t afford to pay thier bills.
The more severe health problem for the many in Hong Kong is the air pollution caused chronicle diseases of asthma, heart and lungs. The Li Ka Shing Medical centre of University of Hong Kong has recorded there were 10 million clinical visits in 2007 for the treatment of asthma, heart and lungs diseases. Hong Kong has a total populaton of 7 millions. However, most of Hong Kong senior citizens can afford to look after themselves after contracting the air pollution related diseases. It is very difficult to look after themselves after contracting the one or more of the chronicles. Many concerned citizens are keep on negotiaging with the unconcerned Hong Kong government and the legislators to provide more money to the more than 10% of the total senior citizens are currently contracted with the alzheimer’s. It endangers the lives of the 10% of Hong Kong senior citizens. There are more than 3,000 had died of Hong Kong foul air caused diseases in 2007. Government should provide more money.

Open Question: Taurine supplements for cats?
My kitten has a heart murmur. I’ve read that extra taurine can help. Any ideas on if there are supplements?
