Open Question: Should we keep this puppy?
She was found to have an extremely bloated abdomen which could most likely be due to intestinal parasites or due to a poor diet. As well, a grade 1\6 heart murmur, and at this point cannot say whether this is an innocent heart murmur or a congenital defect. Her patellas were also found to be a little loose and this could pose a potential issue with luxation down the road if the patellar ligaments do not tighten up.
We just got her yesterday, my husband wants to keep her but I think we should bring her back

Open Question: Was this a TIA/mini stroke?
A few days ago, my lip felt a bit numb and a couple of hours after the whole left side of my face did also. (not totally numb though,but a big decrease in sensation compared to the other side) At this time I also felt like I would faint and die. At this time I took 2 aspirin and walked around as I thought it could be a stroke.
Obviously my husband called an ambulance,but things got better once they arrived. He checked me and everything was fine (I just felt really cold,but maybe that was because I was so stressed) I did go to the hospital and a dr did see me.
Just she wasn’t worried about it. She told me I’m young (I’m 25) and because I don’t smoke and drink and don’t have high cholesterol/blood pressure/diabetes/heart disease etc it was probably not a TIA although she didn’t do any tests. I should mention I am VERY overweight,but that didn’t worry her.
My diagnosis said migraine,even though I did NOT have any headache/vision problems.
I am planning a visit to my gp,but she’s not available til monday,so I thought I’d ask on here.
