Open Question: Is there a heart disease where the heart gets weaker and weaker until the host dies?
If there is, could I have the name please? I need it for the story I’m writing on and I think it would be pretty unprofessional if I didn’t name the character’s disease.

Open Question: Some kind of Heart/Chest Pain?
Hi, I’m a 19 year old fairly healthy asian-american male. I sometimes experience a weird pain in my heart region that’s really hard to describe. I think it’s my heart because I only feel it on the left side of my chest. It’s not a very sharp pain, and I don’t think it would be described as heartburn. It’s kind of like a slight tightening that lingers for 5-10 minutes. I don’t have any trouble breathing or any other symptoms during these experiences. I get these at a vary infrequent rate usually at least days, often weeks, and sometimes months apart. I can’t readily associate them with any bodily changes and I don’t think they’re from stress. I usually notice them when I’m kind of just sitting around on the computer or watching TV. I remember when I was a kid (maybe 10-12) I went to the pediatrician once and he thought he heard a heart murmur, but when I got it checked out at the cardiologist it came back fine… These have been going on for maybe 3-4 years, but they’re so infrequent and seemingly innocuous I never take much notice to them. Any ideas?
