Open Question: Is the Endocrinoligst the right doctor to see?
I was told by 2 doctors to see an endocrinologist, is this the right kind of doc to see? The allergist ruled out food allergies via RAST (blood test) and the rheumatologist said I had Sjogren’s / Sicca etc but he suspects more is going on. Here’s the symptoms:
- Lower stomach bloat (I’m thin, this is very noticeable)
- Bags under eyes
- Low blood sugar
- Rashes with some fruits/veggies
- Rashes from the sun
- Hair loss
- Constipation
If it helps, I also have PCOS (dx 1999), Interstitial Cystitis (dx 2001) and a heart murmur (2/5). Mother has thyroid disorder, father is diabetic.
Thanks!
