Open Question: Heart palpitations, nausea and lack of concentration, need help!?
I have been experiencing what feels like a heart palpitation every couple of minutes or so, and lasts for approx 3 seconds at a time.. I also have been feeling very nauseous, and finding it hard to focus or concentrate on anything. This happens even after sleeping for a good 6 hours. There is a dull kind of pain in my left chest area that comes and goes, about every 5 mins. Its not very strong, but is present.
I recently went in for an ecg scan and blood tests and a few other tests to determine if it is heart related. My results came back that there were no murmurs, no irregularities and percussion resonant. I can’t understand this is correct since my symptoms all point towards a cardiovascular problem. I also have a pain that is always present in my left shoulder blade on my back. I have been advised that this could be the cause of the ‘discomfort’ and other symptoms that I may be experiencing. It was explained that the muscles are all inter-connected, and can trigger other muscles to have painful responses. This info was from a registered nurse. I also have to mention that I have had a sharp pain that would prevent me from finishing a deep breath, and have also been told that that is quite normal and is usually muscular. I am looking for answers please help me, I cant sleep properly and am sick with worry.
Thanks

Open Question: stats intro q standard deviation?
Too much cholesterol in the blood increases the risk of heart diseases.
Young women are generally less aicted with high cholesterol than other
groups. The cholesterol levels for women aged 20 to 34 follow an approxi-
mately Normal distribution with mean 185 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dl)
and standard deviation 39 mg/dl.
(a) Cholesterol levels above 240 mg/dl demand medical attention. What
percent of young women have levels above 240 mg/dl?
(b) Levels above 200 mg/dl are considered borderline. What percent of young
women have blood cholesterol between 200 and 240 ml/dl?
any help would be appreciated.
