Open Question: Are there any health benefits to drinking coffee?
My friend says I shouldn’t drink coffee because it’s totally bad for my health. I always disagree though because it has long term health benefits. I remember hearing a news report once that there are health benefits for coffee drinkers. The only one I remember is that they have a lower chance of heart disease. What are some others, because I know there was more?

Open Question: The thought of having to say goodbye to my dog someday is unbearable?
I’m 22 and have a 13/14
(vets say 13, I say 14) year old jack russell. he is absolutely amazing. he’s watched me grow up, gotten me through middle school, high school, and college, and slept next to me every night for all of these years. he’s constantly smiling and i could spend the rest of my life just playing with him and watching him sleep. He has had a heart murmur for a couple of years, which is stable, and other than slowing down a bit since he is in his teens, no serious health issues. But, as a realist, I realize that his wonderful breed normally lives to be 15 or 16. That’s a great long life but for me, the thought of ever having to put him down or anything like that feels so crushing. I seriously feel like crying at the thought of it. Any words or thought of encouragement (not for now!!!! but for someday in the future). I just realized that the fact I get this sad while he’s still alive and well means it’ll probably be really hard for me.
