Open Question: Really need some advise. My daughter may have a heart defect?
Hi everyone,
My 4 year old daughter has a pansystolic heart murmur radiating to the neck. After a lot of stuffing around from the doctors and alot of different opinions on what sort of murmur it is, she has now been referred to a paediatric cardiologist.
I took her back to our normal doc today because she was seen by a different doctor yesterday who said “If I was a betting man, I would put money on it being an innocent murmur. The only thing that bothers me is I can hear it in her neck.” I am not a gambler and I definately would not bet on my daughter.
Our normal doc said no innocent murmur radiates to the neck.
She had an echo done a couple of months ago which showed regurgitation. I am really confused. I know its not a life or death situation, but its my angel and I want to get some straight answers.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thankks
