Open Question: What does this action in dreams mean?
A few months ago, I lost my grandpa to heart disease. He was a very important person in my life, and the loss was hard. Obviously, I’ve had many dreams since his death involving him, but one seems to stand out in particular, for a few reasons.
(I’ll try to keep this succinct)
In it, I was at a family gathering and he was there. It was present day, and when I thought of the day my grandpa died (in my dream) I thought of it as “the day I almost lost him”. As he was getting ready to leave, I walked up to him and put my hand on his cheek.
Now, I was telling my close friend about this dream, and after I finished explaining it, she said that she found it very odd. When I asked her why, she said that after she lost her loved one, she had a dream that she touched his face as well.
I’m just wondering what that action means, if anything. I just found it odd that we both dreamt essentially the same thing.
